I have lived in the Cape Fear Region of North Carolina all my life and in Wilmington since 1992. I love calling this wonderful place home I can't imagine bringing up my family anywhere else!
Shortly after graduating from East Carolina University I met and married my husband, Stephen. We have two sons and a beautiful daughter.
I was very blessed to be able to stay home with them when they were young. When they were in middle school and high school I finally had time to pursue a career that I have always had in the back of my mind, just waiting for the right time. 
I have had a passion for real estate since Steve and I were looking for our first house many years ago, so it was an obvious decision to become a Realtor. The decision to work with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage was also an easy choice. It is very simple, Sea Coast Advantage has more agents and moves more property than any other company in the area. Then why would you enter into a real estate transaction without a buyer’s agent there to advocate for you? As a buyer’s agent I work for you but I get paid from the commission that is paid by the seller. So you are hiring a professional Real Estate Broker to work for you without having to pay for the service yourself. So why would you not want a buyer’s agent working for you?

We were looking to buy and resettle in the Wilmington area from New Hampshire and were connected with Julie by USAA Buyer's Advantage. After a couple of phone chats to give her some ideas on what we were looking for, my wife and adult daughters met up with Julie for the first time on the day after Thanksgiving. I was very impressed right from the beginning with her intuitiveness for what we were looking for and what our budget was. No attempts to sway us to buy higher and all of the homes she showed us that day (6 I think) were possibilities. We found a place and put an offer in that did not materialize. After advice from Julie we moved our search a bit and very slightly upped our budget to 'cast a wider net', but never felt like we were being pushed into anything we didn't want. Flew back down two weeks later for a Saturday afternoon house hunting trip and Julie put us on 3 great houses. We made an offer and have just closed on a beautiful home. Best of all, Julie was a very strong negotiator and provided my wife and I very good advice on the initial offer and negotiating through due diligence. We actually ended up buying more house that we thought we could get, in a great neighborhood with a big lot....for less than our ORIGINAL budget. We found Julie to be a very pleasant person with a lot of style and grace, but also very down to earth and extremely capable with a tough side when it came to our negotiations. We give Julie our highest recommendation. You cannot go wrong with Julie.
